We build durable, minimalist tension rods that do the job — without adding unnecessary weight to the planet. But product longevity isn’t enough. We’re actively reducing our environmental impact at every stage — from materials to shipping.
♻️ Our Climate Goals
1. Reduce Carbon Footprint by 10% (by 2027)
We’re working to cut down emissions per unit through smarter material sourcing and lighter construction — without compromising strength.
2. Plastic-Free Packaging (90% by Q4 2025)
We’re phasing out plastic from our packaging — including wraps, inserts, and foam. Our goal is for at least 90% of all shipped products to use fully recyclable, plastic-free materials by the end of 2025.
3. Shipping with Less Impact
We’re switching more shipments to sea freight, optimizing packaging size, and reducing air freight to under 1% of total by 2026.
4. Recycled Materials (Goal: 50% by 2027)
We’re working with our suppliers to increase the share of recycled plastic and steel in our rods — without affecting performance or price.
5. Repair & Reuse Program (Pilot in 2026)
We’re developing a return/recycle program to give old or damaged rods a second life — and keep materials in use.
🔍 How We Measure Progress
We work closely with our manufacturing partners to track and improve sustainability across the supply chain. Here’s what we focus on:
•Estimated CO₂ emissions per unit
•% of packaging materials that are recyclable
•% of recycled content in core product materials (e.g. steel, plastics)
•Shipping breakdown: air vs sea freight ratio
•Factory-level waste rates, reported via supplier feedback.
We don’t control the factories — but we do choose who we work with, and we push for better every production cycle.
